SCALP HEALTH IN IPSWICH SUFFOLK
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. These treatments look after the foundation, calming irritation, clearing congestion, softening stiff or scarred tissue, and creating the best possible environment for the hair you have and the hair you're working to keep. They can be booked on their own or as part of a wider plan.
Deep Scalp Treatment
Some scalps simply need more time.
This is 90 minutes of unhurried, personalised care, thorough cleansing and exfoliation, therapeutic massage, and creams chosen for how your scalp is on the day.
It suits scalps with stubborn build up from conditions like dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis or psoriasis or anyone who'd like the most thorough treatment I offer.
£95 - 90 mins
Scalp Hyrdofacial
Your face gets a facial and your scalp is skin too. Hydrodermabrasion uses water-based exfoliation and actives like lactic acid to gently lift away product build-up, excess oil, flakes and dead skin cells, leaving the scalp deeply cleansed, hydrated and the follicles decongested. It suits congested, flaky or oily scalps, anyone who uses heavier styling products, and works well as a regular reset.
Most people find it genuinely relaxing.
£65 - 60 mins
Scalp Revive
Scarred or stiff scalp tissue restricts blood flow and makes it harder for the scalp to respond to care. Microvibration uses needling with a plastic needle, paired with an anti-inflammatory serum, to help soften stiff tissue and encourage circulation.
Along the way it decongests the follicles and thoroughly cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the scalp, which also helps the skin absorb any hair-growth-supporting products you're using at home or in clinic.
£65 - 45 mins
(£60 per treatment in a course of 5)
Cool Boost
When a scalp is inflamed, irritated or sensitive, calming it comes before anything else an angry scalp is not an environment where hair thrives.
Cool Boosting pairs a gentle cold treatment with the infusion of an anti-inflammatory serum, designed to soothe reactive skin and bring the scalp back towards comfort and balance.
It is frequently used as a supporting treatment within a wider plan, particularly where scalp inflammation is a contributing factor.

This depends on what your scalp needs. The Scalp Hydrofacial suits congested, mild flaky, or oily scalps and works well as a regular reset. Scalp Revive is aimed at scarred or stiff scalp tissue that is restricting blood flow. Cool Boost is best when the scalp is inflamed, irritated, or sensitive and needs calming before anything else. The Deep Scalp Treatment suits stubborn build up from conditions such as dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, or psoriasis. If you are unsure, a consultation or Scalp Health Check will help me recommend the right starting point.

Some scalps respond well to a single treatment, while others benefit from a course, particularly Scalp Revive and Cool Boost, which are often priced as a course of five for that reason. Hair and scalp health change gradually rather than overnight, so I will always give you a realistic sense of what to expect once I have assessed your scalp directly.
-
No, there is no downtime with any of these treatments. Most people find them genuinely relaxing rather than uncomfortable. The Scalp Hydrofacial and Deep Scalp Treatment both involve gentle exfoliation and massage, and Cool Boost is specifically designed to soothe rather than stimulate.
-
Scalp Revive uses microvibration, which involves needling with a plastic needle rather than a metal one, which does not pierce the skin, paired with an anti-inflammatory serum. This is a gentler approach designed to help soften stiff or scarred tissue and encourage circulation, while also decongesting the follicles.
-
These treatments suit a wide range of scalp concerns, including congestion, flaking, oiliness, product build up, inflammation, and stiff or scarred tissue that is affecting circulation. They can be booked on their own for general scalp maintenance, or as part of a wider treatment plan alongside other services.
-
Some scalp conditions need to be calmed before certain treatments are appropriate. For example, if your scalp is actively inflamed or reactive, I may recommend Cool Boost first rather than a more intensive option such as the Hydrofacial or the Deep Scalp Treatment. I will always guide you towards the right treatment for where your scalp is on the day, rather than the most intensive option by default.
A Note on Expectations
Scalp health tends to improve gradually rather than overnight, particularly where there is long standing build up, inflammation, or stiff tissue to work through. Some scalps respond well to a single treatment, while others benefit from a course, and I will always be honest with you about which applies in your case. My aim with every treatment is to leave your scalp genuinely calmer, cleaner, or better balanced than when you arrived, and to be clear with you about what a realistic timeline for that looks like. All hair types are welcome, and I see clients from Ipswich and across Suffolk.
